WELCOME TO CODSALL & ALBRIGHTON OUTINGS
Enjoying shared experiences with friends is something we all like to do. Codsall Outings aims to provide such occasions, as indeed it has done from its founding nearly 25 years ago in Albrighton. But there is more. Our trips help you to find new friends. Consequently we have more than a hundred who may be regarded as our regular participants.
A varied programme takes place throughout the year. We travel to scenic parts of the country such as the Cotswolds, North Wales, and the Derbyshire Peak District. Once in a particular area we visit stately homes, gardens, historical towns and other important locations of general interest. Some of the destinations are National Trust properties and so those who are members of the Trust can get free admission. There is an annual trip to the seaside and in December we have a celebratory event which usually includes a Christmas lunch in a smart hotel.
About once a month, mostly from early Spring to late December, there is an escorted trip to places within a reasonable day’s driving distance from Codsall and Albrighton. Sometimes we extend our travels and stay overnight in a comfortable hotel. Such short breaks have proved particularly popular. Most trips leave between 8.00am to 9.00am in the morning and we are almost always back by 6pm to 7.30pm. We pick up only from Albrighton and Codsall, so no time is wasted on multiple pick-ups and set-downs. We use luxury executive coaches to make our travels as comfortable as possible.
