CADBURY WORLD AND BIRMINGHAM CITY CENTRE
SATURDAY 29th MARCH 2025
In the morning, we will be visiting Cadbury World in Bournville, Birmingham. On arrival, there will be time for a hot drink and then we will be able to do a tour of part of the famous chocolate factory and also walk through the living museum where the history of chocolate is explained. Free samples are available and there is a large shop for buying your favourites!
We will then drive into the City Centre where you will have the afternoon to look round bustling Birmingham. Centenary Square now links to Victoria Square where you will find City Hall, the Museum and Art Galleries. The International Conference Centre area is where you will find Gas Street Basin and Brindley Place, all worth a visit but will time and stamina allow?!
We will leave Albrighton, Crown bus shelter at 8.45 am and Codsall, Trinity Methodist church at 9.00am and should be back by about 5.30 to 6 p.m.
The cost of to-day’s trip will be £45. Please note that this includes admission to Cadbury World, and as usual the drivers tip will be included too.
